So I started this little catering company in 2005 and it was centered around cupcakes only, under the name Krista's Kupcakery. Then after 3 years of catering for movie stars, musicians, well known hairdressers and lots of word of mouth customers, I was commissioned by Chanel to make cookies to help usher in their new perfume for that season. It opened the door for other desserts and voila, sug.ar came to fruition. Anything and everything.... sug.ar. If you need something, I bake it. My specialty is to make it as personal as I can, complimenting any occasion. I love coming along side you and creating something that will excite you and your guest.

Praline Pecan Cupcake..Say What???

Okay so I get this order for a Praline Pecan Frosted Chocolate Cupcake. So I immediately go to my grandmothers cookbook, printed in 1914, and I find one, Yhay! It calls for four simple ingredients and if anybody knows me, the lesser the ingredients, the better, 5 is always a favorite of mine. So it calls for brown sugar, butter, milk and powder sugar. I make it and feel it is lacking some very little extras and viola' I have this stinkin amazing Praline Pecan Buttercream. I slam down two cupcakes, which is not like me, but oh my lanta....is this legal? just waiting for dinner now so I can seal the meal with another one...Yikes!
